HOUR ONE

The first three segments are all about California wines, who makes them and why they’re so popular in Canada. We talk to winemakers, owners and reps from:

The Wine Diva Daenna Van Mulligen will review some of the California wines she tasted and then cover an Italian wine event she attended.

HOUR TWO

It’s the Selbach Blues. A deadly combination of the German Rieslings of Johannes Selbach and the deep south BBQ of George and Park of Memphis Blues in Vancouver. We all gather at Everything Wine in North Vancouver. www.selbach-oster.de

The man behind the astounding world success of Yellow Tail is John Casella. It was his parents who first planted the vines that eventually became one of the largest wineries in the world. Lots to talk about.

A then two friends from Toronto, Prince Edward County winemaker Norm Hardie is found pouring his latest bottles at Jamie Kennedy’s Wine Bar on Lower Church in Toronto. And the last word goes to Jamie Drummond, the Sommelier of Jamie Kennedy’s Wine Bar. www.normanhardie.com, www.jamiekennedy.ca

We talk Ontario wines and wines in general as Jamie changes his wine list every two days along with the menu.

Enjoy!
