Chef David Cruz survived the streets of south LA and became a really fine chef..
He’s just back from China after working with their local chefs as part of the Shanghai Grand Prix.
He’s now the Executive chef of the River Cree Resort outside Edmonton and the Gold Medal Plate Winner for the Edmonton area.
We find him in the kitchen of his restaurant – Sage. Great guy!!

25 year old Anthony Sedlak..has come a long way from North Vancouver, BC. Started working kitchens on Grouse Mountain over-looking Vancouver.
Spent years at La Trompette in West London and is currently building his first restaurant The Corner Suite Bistro De Luxe in Vancouver’s West End.
We talk about his travels and his Food Network TV show The Main and his Book The Main Recipes.
