And the release party at Black Hills Winery..the maker of the legendary Note Bene!!
Lots of celebs. Lots of food and wine..what’s not to like?

Segment 4

Segment 5
The Canadian Tenors performed and as they were being whisked away to yet another stage, we caught up and talked quickly about wine, of course and their new David Foster album.
We also had to find time for the man who makes Note Bene and Alibi and Carmenere..Black Hills winemaker Graham Pierce.
Segment 6
The Wine Diva Daenna Van Mulligen reviews the wines of Black Hills.
Segment 7
While we’re in Osoyoos, we decided to talk food (and wine) with Paul La Grange from Passatempo and then downtown to Bibo and partners Peter Barclay and Brad Lazarenko.
Segment 8
We may have saved the best for last. The wine world changed in 1976 in Paris, when the French invited California winemakers to match their best reds and whites with theirs.
It was called The shot heard round the World… The Judgment of Paris.
The wines were judged by the best French wine experts and to their shock and horror, they chose the Stags Leap Cab as their red and the Chateau Montelena as their white. Both from California.
It changed wine forever.
Which makes Chateau Montelena winemaker Bo Barrett, a very special guest. If you saw the movie Bottle Shock..he was the surfing/hippie dude.
