Howard Wasserman is one of the people who first started to teach me about fine wine. He’s with B&W Importers in Toronto. We find him after a looong four hour lunch in Spain. As the countryside slips by, he gives us an overview on Spain’s wines.

HOUR TWO
The entire hour is spent at Road 13 Winery, BC, the winery formerly known as Golden Mile Winery. The change was voluntary as the area south of Oliver, BC, was also known as The Golden Mile. Mick and Pam Luckhurst changed the name to Road 13 to avoid confusion and allow the area to market itself.
Because their wines are SO popular, a gang of sommeliers, writers, etc., showed up for the re-launch.
